Change and Growth Therapy Center was created in 2015 due to my desire to serve people and help them to learn to face personal challenges and to become empowered in the process. Since I was a small child, I felt a calling to help people that were suffering. My desire grew and developed into a passion. After working for over 20 years in psychiatric hospitals, I was prepared to “fly solo” and to create the practice of my dreams. Here I will share with you a bit more about my company.
Vision: “Helping adults and couples to break through personal barriers in order to manifest their true selves and conquer the world, despite challenging life circumstances.”
Mission: “I guide and collaborate with adults and couples who are experiencing extreme stress handling life transitions and who feel lost or confused about their next steps. I empower my clients to realign their values to their goals in order to find balance, peace and personal realization.
Motto: “Helping you to change and grow into the person you were meant to be.”
Culture: I want to offer an environment where my clients feel safe, relaxed and open in order to fully benefit from the therapeutic relationship. I want to assist the clients to get in contact with their inner wisdom and creativity as I believe that people have the seeds of transformation planted inside them. Some of the values that guide my practice:
Collaboration: I believe I am the expert on mental health and you are the expert on being you; working together we maximize your ability to identify and utilize tools to find peace, balance, harmony and happiness. I believe in having an open communication with my clients; we will not have any taboos in the therapy room. It is only through open communication that we will obtain a level of understanding to achieve inner transformation.
Honesty: I propose a relationship which is open, objective and with clear boundaries. I follow all the legal and ethical principles of my profession and I am committed to provide you with care which is effective, caring and compassionate.
Authenticity: I Believe all relationships should be based on authenticity; I value cultural and individual differences. I believe that the therapeutic relationship will help you to find and express your true self.
Nurturing: Through a caring, open and non-judgemental approach, you will feel safe to be free, to look into your weaknesses, identify and expand your strengths and through this experience to empower yourself to embrace the unique person you are.
Goal-Oriented: I believe in a goal-oriented, solution-focused therapeutic process; I prefer to seek solutions rather than dwelling on understanding the past. Although it is very hard to estimate the length of any therapeutic process, my aim is to help my clients to learn and implement tools to be in therapy for the short term; to learn to rely on their own skills to face any challenges that come their way.
Empowerment: I believe that all human beings possess an inner-healer. My task as a therapist is to help them to connect with the inner healer so that they will strength themselves to express their true selves and conquer the world, fearlessly.

Growth and Development: I am committed to obtain the highest level of competence regarding my profession. I engage consistently in continuing education opportunities in order to fine-tune my therapeutic skills and to expand my repertoire of tools. I am a firm believer in the importance of continuous learning and growing, as a professional and also as a human being.
Respect: I respect people from different cultures, backgrounds, religious beliefs, sexual orientation and the like. I believe that each person brings a unique richness that is composed by the combination of his/her strengths, talents, personal story, beliefs and points of view. I believe diversity makes the world better and more interesting.
Optimism: I am a firm believer that we need to cultivate an optimistic view of the world; optimism fosters creativity and hope. These are the fuel for transformation.
Well-Being: I value the importance of promoting the well being of all people. I seek to have a balance between work and personal life in order to pursue optimal mental, emotional, physical and spiritual health. I believe I should “do as I say” in order to maintain my ability to be 100% commited to my clients during our encounters. In order to do so, I practice self-care activities, I have a network of support and I schedule regular vacations and mental health days. I seek to nourish my body and my soul on a daily basis as a way to manage stress effectively and positively.
Transformation: The most human characteristic from my point of view, is our ability to recreate ourselves. Human beings with their intelligence and ability to self-reflect can adapt to anything. I believe one can become anything they want to, despite any external circumstances.
Humor: I believe that “laugh is the best medicine”. Humor brings lightness to our lives and it works as a great stress management tool; it also helps us to increase our creativity, elevate our mood and to create connections among people.
